Discussion of SI Schedules Across Projects

    • Assignment Requirements: Portfolio (paper), log, Sacred Writing, 3 pieces for Anthology (may vary year to year), I-Search (includes independent annotated bibliography), reflective responses to required shared readings,
  • EMWP-4wk, M-F 9am-3pm
    • Welcome Dinner in Early May (3 hours), TD Lesson, hook up w/Mentor TC
    • Last Day: Read Around Celebration, Admin Luncheon
    • Continuity Building: 5 meetings after SI with new TCs (2-3 hours each mtg)

    • Assignment Requirements: Final Reflection Essay, Anthology piece, e-portfolio (on Google Site), Teacher Demo w/CRTD, Prompts, Daily Logs, Choice for action research/inquiry, annotated bibliography connected to research (collaborative), e-anthology encouragement

    • Continuity Building: fall and spring workshops showcasing recent TCs
    • Assignment Requirements: portfolio w/reflection, Anthology piece (multiple drafts required), Teacher Demo w/CRTD synthesis uploaded to wiki, Writing Instruction Model uploaded to wiki (Inquiry Piece), Digital Story Required, Blogging required on shared reading, professional reading

    • Assignment Requirements: Daily Log, Digital Story Requirement, Anthology, Portfolio (choice of paper or e-version), reflection of growth as a Teacher, Writer, Person, reflection from Writing Response Groups, reflection from Reading Groups, lesson plan grew from required leading, policy text w/critical response, tech text w/lesson plan (placed into anthology), 4 pieces that are taken through multiple drafts (encourage Digital Story), reflection upon teaching demo and CRTDs

    • Welcome Dinner in April (6-9 pm) Sit with grade-level reading groups. See 1st teaching demo
    • Workday one Saturday in May (9-1) See 2nd teaching demo. Sit and meet with demo coach
    • Continuity Building: Teacher Research Class Available w/stipend available.
    • SI 3 credits, Teacher Research Course 3 credits
    • Assignment Requirements: paper portfolio, 4 sections: Writing, Reading, Teaching Demonstration, Participation.
      • Writing: drafts from the month, polished writing taken through multiple drafts, anthology submission
      • Reading: reflections on 2 required books and 2 self-selected books posted to online forum. Formal annotated bibliography reviews of these 4 books submitted to our GoogleDocs Annotated Bib.
      • Teaching Demonstration: Demo Packet (theory, lesson plans, student work), reflection on demo, letters from response groups
      • Participation: Writing invitation, creative-genre log report, Reflective writing on learning during ISI in above 3 areas

    • Last Day: Dinner w/Read Around Celebration
    • Continuity Building: April Dinner is optional, had a 100 day Project Celebration, Holiday Celebration to bring TCs together
    • SI 3 credits, also available is an additional 3 credit
    • Assignment Requirements: Daily Log Reports, Writing into the Day (prompts), respond to three of the required readings (varies on text but used MAPS), Literature Circles w/response, additional text of choice w/response, Teacher Demonstrations w/CRTD, online portfolio on wiki, multi-genre response to the research/over arching theme of their topic
